Sonam Kapoor who had been in the headlines for her various fashion avatars at Cannes is back in India and is looking forward to the release of Raanjhnaa.

Though Sonam has played girl next door roles in most of her films, her social appearances be it for events, magazine covers have all spelt glam. The actress who has always shied from donning a swim suit and said that she does not possess the body type to carry it off with élan, was seen in such a costume in the movie Aisha and then later in Players.

Now she is seen sporting a swim suite for the photoshoot of the magazine cover Vogue. The special edition of Vogue that features India’s 50 best-dressed Women has Sonam Kapoor on two covers. In one of the cover page, Sonam is seen wearing a swimsuit by Viktor & Rolf, showing off her long legs.

The other coverage has her sporting an Alexander McQueen couture dress, and shoulder-length statement earrings by Dolce & Gabbana.

Earlier she was seen posing in a  two piece for the Filmfare Magazine’s photoshoot. Now for Vogue, her glam photo is in for both appreciation and criticism.

Sonam, who seems to have enjoyed this photoshoot, thanking the fashion director of Vogue  tweeted, “Thank you @Anaita_Adajania for my best shoot ever!! You're amazing!”

Vogue states Sonam as the undisputed leader of the style clan. It reads “Our inaugural Style List features women at the vanguard of fashion in India, and cover star Sonam Kapoor is their undisputed leader.”
