John Abraham gifted a Yamaha V Max bike to his special friend and director of `Shootout at Wadala`, Sanjay Gupta, in Mumbai on Tuesday.



The movie has got an overwhelming response from the audience.

Abraham, 40, admitted that he was just looking for the right time to gift Gupta the bike, which he is so fond of.

"I promised Sanjay when we started shooting for ` Shootout at Wadala ` that if movie will be hit, then I will gift a bike. No, No, I am just kidding. I promised him because he was very fond of this bike and I know I will be gifting him this bike, I was just finding a right moment to gift him and I thought after movie` release, I should gift him," the handsome hunk said.

When Gupta was asked about his first reaction to this surprise gift from the star, this is what he said:

"I will first take it home and show it to my kids because my younger son is very fond of bikes. This bike is a big inspiration for me because a genuine biker knows its value. And I will take one promise from John, that after the next film also, he will gift me one more bike," he revealed.

John Abraham and Kangna Ranaut’s lovemaking scene is high in the air these days. There is a big buzz about this intimate scene of the film titled Shootout at Wadala. Often we hear that the intimate scenes happen to be quite a difficult task for both the males and females of the film industry or one of them feels the problem in dolling up so. But in the case of John Abraham and Kangana Ranaut, both did the intimacy with an ease.

The sequence was picturized for the upcoming gangster movie, in which both are enacting the main leads. The scene has been picturized for a romantic song ‘Yeh Junoon’ rendered by Mustafa Zahid, famed Pakistani singer.

John Abraham plays the role of a Mumbai gangster Manya Surve whereas the gorgeous Kangana enacts his love interest Vidya in the film. The reports have it that John did not take much time to get convinced for the scene, as he was well aware of the demand of the scene. Kangana too understood the scene’s demand and went positive with the sequence.

'Shootout At Wadala' had a Bumper Opening Day Collection at the Domestic Box Office.

'Shootout At Wadala' estimated collection on its 1st Day (Friday) at the Domestic Box Office stood at about Rs 10-10.15 crores nett. It Proved to be a mass entertainer and did superbly well at single screens across mass circuits.

Opening Day Collection is 3rd Highest Opening Day figures for 2013 after 'Race 2' (15.11 crores) and 'Himmatwala' (12 crores).

'Shootout At Wadala' maintained its superb momentum on its 2nd Day at the Domestic Box Office.
Estimated collection on its 2nd Day (Saturday) at the Domestic Box Office stood at about Rs9.85-10.05 crores nett.

Along with Fridays collection, the estimated Total collection of 'Shootout At Wadala' for 2 Days stands at about Rs 19.85-20 crores nett. While the performance dipped in some circuits on Saturday but performed awesomely well in most others.

Sunny Leone has been paid Rs 5 crore by a producer. She isn't doing any new films post her upcoming film Ragini MMS 2 and item number in Shootout at Wadala.


Sunny Leone has signed a three-film deal with producer Parag Sanghvi (last film 24/7) for a whopping amount of Rs 5 crore. It is learnt that the adult movie star’s contract with the filmmaker has a clause stating she cannot do any other film till she finishes her three-film deal with Alumbra Entertainment (the production house).

That probably also explains why the actress is not taking on any new films post her upcoming Ragini MMS 2 and an item song in Shootout At Wadala. It is being said that the clause has put her in a fix as she is getting several offers but is not being able to consider because of the restriction.

However, Sanghvi denies that he is standing in her way of signing new films, “We share a very cordial relationship and there’s nothing that can’t be sorted out over talks. There’s no clause banning her from shooting for any other film till she doesn’t complete her films with us. She knows that if there are any such hurdles, we can mutually work around them. She is a professional and I am sure that she will not let the commitment to one film affect another one. It’s her call completely. We plan to finish off three films in two years.”

As for the remuneration of Rs 5 crore, he shakes his head, “Sorry but I can’t talk about that.” The filmmaker is reluctant to reveal anything about his upcoming projects with her as well, “It’s too early to reveal any details. We start shooting after three months and we are still in finalising stages. The first film will be on the lines of a thriller, is all I can say at this point,” he adds.
