For the sixth season of reality dance show
Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, the contestants have now been finalised.
Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6 will go on air on June 1 on Colors.
The show's promo has not been shot a studio. Rather, it's in a very unusual location -- a fort, 60 km from Mumbai. The fort has been part of many films like Wanted, Josh, Kambakt Ishq and Khamoshi.

Dhrasti Dhami
Drashti Dhami is a famous Indian television actress and model, Currently seen playing Madhubala in Colors tv popular show Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. Sources that, the upcoming Jhalak Dikhla Jaa season 6, may see actress Drashti Dhami, the makers are trying their best to rope in popular faces from television.
Lauren Gottlieb
Lauren Gottlieb, who gained fame via swaying her sexy hips in the movie ABCD, is believed to have been signed as one of the contestants in the upcoming season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 6. "She is a contestant and in most probability will pair opposite Salman Yusuff Khan," said a source. Salman is a known Jhalak face and incidentally has acted opposite Lauren in ABCD. When we called up Salman to learn more on the development, he confirmed being a part of Jhalak’s upcoming season but had no idea on Lauren being a part of the show or not. American actress-dancer Lauren was a contestant in the US reality dance show So You Think You Can Dance. She also played one of the leads in India's first 3D dance film, ABCD (Any Body Can Dance), directed by Remo D'Souza.
Shantanu Mukherjee (Playbacksinger)
Jhalak Dikhla Jaa season 6 first name is out of the final list of participants. Famous singer Shantanu Mukherjee popularly known as Shaan who has made a name for himself in the music and entertainment industry is the first participant to be announced for the upcoming season. A noted playback singer for Bollywood films, Shaan has also hosted quite a few song and dance reality shows. Now his dance moves will be put to test and we are sure Shaan will give his best. Sources says that he is believed to be in Birmingham and London performing for a series of concerts and once back will start with his rehearsals for the dance show - Jhalak Dikhla Jaa: Dancing with the Stars.
Karanvir Bohra (Actor)
Karanvir Bohra isn't a stranger to celebrity dance reality shows. He was seen with wife Teejay Sidhu in Nach Baliye 4 and Karanvir even danced alongside Isha Shervani and Salman Yousuf Khan in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 5. Karanvir finally step up as a contestant and participate in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6.
Siddharth Shukla
Siddharth Shukla aka Shiv of the serial Balika Vadhu, has also been approached by the channel and is finally the part of the show as one of the contestants.
Aarti Chhabria
Aarti Chabria is an Indian actress and a former model, who appears in Hindi, Telugu and Kannada movies. Actress Aarti Chhabria, earlier seen in reality show Fear Factor and Khatron Ke Khiladi 4 , will return to the tube with JDJ season 6. Says a source, "Aarti is excited about participating in the show. She has always had a penchant for dancing."
Eijaz Khan
Eijaz Khan is apparently all set to be part of the show. The actor was last seen in Sony TV's Shubh Vivah. According to our source, "Eijaz Khan is presently in talks with the channel and production house (BBC Productions), and if all goes well, the actor will be seen in a new avatar, this time around on the dance floor of the Colors' show."
Ekta Kaul
Ekta Kaul is an Indian television actress, she is known for her role of Sahiba in Rab Se Sohna Isshq. Now she will be seen in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 6 as a contestant.
Suresh Menon
Suresh Menon is an Indian actor,comedian and television personality. He will also be seen as one of the contestant of the show Jhalak.
