Shahid Kapoor in a tanned look for his upcoming movie Rambo Rajkumar
Actor Shahid Kapoor is basking in the sun to don a tanned look for his upcoming movie Rambo Rajkumar.
Even though he has always appeared previously in his adorable chocolate boy looks in movies like Ishq Vishk, Vivah and Kismat Konnection, it was his chiseled body and rugged look for Vishal Bharadwaj’s in 2009 movie Kaminey that showed us an entirely different view of Shahid Kapoor.
To be completely in sync with his character this time, the 32 year old actor has opted for a look that is 3 shades darker than his original body tone. Growing a stubble, he is attempting for a biker boy image for this film.
Sources reported, “Shahid never sported a stubble and thus his look has been appreciated by many. In fact, he has started liking the look himself now. Wherever he is going, people are giving him compliments on his look.”
Directed by Prabhudeva, Rambo Rajkumar also stars Sonakshi Sinha as Shahid’s lady love.
Meanwhile, Shahid will also be seen in director Rajkumar Santoshi’s Phata Poster Nikla Hero with Ileana D’Cruz, which is slated for an Aug 23 release.

Composer Mithoon dedicates ‘Aashiqui 2′ track to father
Composer Mithoon, who is behind the music of “Aashiqui 2″, dedicates the movie’s hit track “Tum hi ho” to his father Naresh Sharma, who had worked with composer duo Nadeem-Shravan on the music of 1990-hit “Aashiqui”.
“My father was an integral part of ‘Aashiqui’. He had composed the arrangements for the film and he was, in the words of Nadeem-Shravan, the backbone of the music of ‘Aashiqui’. It’s my greatest joy today to dedicate ‘Tum hi ho’ to my father,” Mithoon said here in an interview.
Naresh Sharma has scored background music for more than 200 movies in his career.
“Aashiqui 2″, directed by Mohit Suri, stars Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. It hit screens Friday.

Change is the only constant factor in B-town and Sunny Leone seems to be the latest bombshell to be in demand. Reports suggest that her increasing popularity is harming colleagues as she is already bagging roles of other fellow actresses!
Gossip mongers that the sequel of Welcome, had intended on retaining most of the original cast with new additions. But rumor has it that Mallika Sherawat has been replaced by Sunny Leone. Zoom has been keeping a close check on Sunny’s popularity and she is definitely a rage amongst the people from the younger generation. In fact it will be easier to deduce Mallika has lost her charm but Sunny Leone is coming across as a more lucrative option for most now. Some even suggest that Mallika isn’t as hot as she was during Welcome! Mallika did post a few pictures of herself on a social networking site recently, but clearly they proved to be no match for our very own Laila Leone. Jackie Shroff's son Tiger Shroff is set to debut in Sajid Nadiadwala’s upcoming film Heropanti
For producer Sajid Nadiadwala, 2013 is turning out to be a landmark year. On Apr. 6, “Heropanti” starring Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon goes on floors in Patiala , and the film is suppose to release on Valentine’s Day 2014. This is a significant date as almost two decades ago Nadiadwala’s “Judwaa,” starring Salman Khan, had its first schedule on the same day and was the producer’s breakthrough film despite an earlier success in “Waqt Hamara Hai” (1993).
“Heropanti” will release in 2014 on Valentine’s Day, which is Feb. 14. A return to the action-romance genre, “Heropanti” will have Nadiadwala’s wife Wardha and his mom giving the first clap for the film without any traditional “muhurat,” as the filmmaker believes he gets all the good luck from the two women in his life.
Nadiadwala said in a press release, “I have always believed in giving breaks to deserving people. So far I have given major breaks to many leading ladies and young directors. I have full faith in Tiger and his talent. This boy is going to redefine action and dance, the way we see it. Working with newcomers has its own energies, and I am looking forward to this shoot.”
Nadiadwala is a third-generation auteur — his father and grandfather were also well-known filmmakers of their time — and he is counted today among the top independent producers in Mumbai. His production house Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. is associated only with films that have A-list stars, lavish budgets and high production values.
A lawyer by education, Nadiadwala started out by assisting on projects developed by his family before venturing out on his own. His upcoming productions include “Kick” starring Salman Khan, which he directs himself, and “Two States” starring Arjun Kapoor, which is a co-production with Dharma Productions.
“Heropanti” is directed by Sabir Khan and has music by Sajid-Wajid. Incidentally, 30 years ago, Tiger’s father Jackie Shroff, already a big name in modeling then, turned hero with Subhash Ghai’s blockbuster “Hero.”
