Mallika looks for true love on small screen
Bollywood bombshell Mallika Sherawat is looking for her perfect man and she is all set to go the Rakhi Sawant and Rahul Mahajan way as she picks television as the medium to find her ‘Prince Charming’.
“Yes, I’m single. But I’m looking for someone who can sweep me off my feet to change that,” quips Mallika Sherawat. Christened The Bachelorette India — Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika, this larger than life series will trace Mallika’s journey.
The show is based on the famous international series The Bachelor, Life OK will present the globally acclaimed show with Indian twists to captivate its viewers. The channel has officially acquired rights for The Bachelor USA.
Mallika has travelled a long way, battled all odds to shed inhibitions of a small town girl from Haryana and become a global celebrity. Says Mallika, “I’m looking for someone who is a self-made, well educated, grounded and above all someone who can be a friend and not just a lover. I prefer men who take risks in life, especially the ones who are not afraid to speak their mind. I hope I find my true soulmate.”
Speaking on the concept of the show, Ajit Thakur, General Manager, Life OK says, “The Bachelorette India — Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika brings together Bollywood and television to tell a magical fairy tale. This show gives us a unique opportunity to partner Mallika in her quest to find true love.”
The majestic and opulent locales of Rajasthan will provide a perfect setting for Mallika’s journey. Online registrations for The Bachelorette India – Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika will be followed by rigorous rounds of shortlisting.
Mallika will then select the top 30 self-made bachelors from all over India who will vow to stand by her and love her unconditionally.

It’s quite difficult – almost impossible – to think of Mallika Sherawat in a desi avatar, maybe because we are not used to seeing B-town’s Mallika-E-Azam covered fully. Stop giggling, sillies! Doesn’t she look nice…for a change! The Murder babe joins the likes of Rakhi Sawant and Ratan Rajput to find her Mr Perfect through the reality TV show Bachelorette India – Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika, which will air on Life OK.
Her highness is quite clear about the Prince Charming she wants to date, or maybe even get married to. “I’m looking for someone who is self-made, well educated, grounded and, above all, someone who can be a friend and not just a lover,” Mallika said in a statement. “I prefer men who take risks in life, and especially the ones who are not afraid to speak their mind. I’m hoping that through The Bachelorette India, I find what I’m truly looking for – a friend and a soulmate,” added Sherawat.
When we learned about Mallika doing a reality show aiming to find the right life partner, we understood that it’s being done primarily for monetary reasons, coz’ we know our lady is known for her mingling with Hollywood celebrities, including the President of the USA Barack Obama (who she claims is her good friend!). She could’ve simply dialled numbers from the enviable list of her contacts and asked them to help her find the right guy. That could’ve been easier no, Mallika? So why all this nautanki…!

Sunny Leone Replaces Mallika Sherawat in sequel of Welcome
Change is the only constant factor in B-town and Sunny Leone seems to be the latest bombshell to be in demand. Reports suggest that her increasing popularity is harming colleagues as she is already bagging roles of other fellow actresses!
